Good morning,

I have been quite silent lately (a little work-related break) but progressing in the background with many bilateral conversations and with the project two-pager. (Thanks Patrik for all the new contacts).

The link to the two-pager: https://storage.livepods.eu/index.php/f/30807
If the link does not work, you can download it from here: https://storage.livepods.eu/index.php/s/HVKY1CSzOACAQTX

You will see that I am proposing a name for the project: NEBWISE - As far as it's NEB. Let me know what you think!

Please feel free to comment, actually, comments are kind of necessary. Please do not send an email with loose comments, but attach your recommendations to the specific chapters of the two pager. Feel free to add comments online or to download and resend me the file, if it is easier for you.

Loredana and myself will have a full-day offline writing session on the 15th of July in Brussels and we would welcome all recommendations, inclusions and additions. If you are in Brussels and you want to join, you are welcome!

Next step: merge/systhematize objectives and workpackages and prepare a list of things for you to do based on workpackage tasks.

Four take-away from the conversations (maybe not a novelty for some, but these concepts are getting solidity) and a recap:

  1. We will build an IT-based knowledge hub as requested. However we want to add a component of wisdom and a "sense of belonging".
  2. Since not all knowledge (wisdom) is accessible online, nor online is the best place to build a sense of belonging, we need offline. Chapters will be the learning places that complement the knowledge hub.
  3. We need a business model for the chapters that allows to create resources for mobility (a definite plus for networks), for community weavers (a hybrid between a journalist and a networker) and for less-advanced chapters.
  4. Since the project is about lessons learned from NEB projects, I am recommending all entities that have NEB-related training offer (and space potentially available) to be "candidates for chapter pilots". This is the case at the moment for new contacts  RMIT, Kamp C and MedaArch

Conversations with Science Park Borås, Social Innovation Forum Sweden, Malmö University, coordinated by Ulrika. There is interest in:

  • Building a connection with Textile and Fashion
  • practice-based artistic research (relation with NEB chapter)
  • the Social Innovation dimension, useful for a conversation on NEB business models and on the business model of the chapters
  • multi-sensorial experience for learning, targeted (also) to people with disabilities, i.e. to represent artistic assets, or NEB assets
  • Social innovation and issues related to democracy - governance models

Highlights from other conversations:

  • interest in bringing a WISE approach based on CEDRA  - EUPolisGrupa methodology;
  • capitalize on Living Future Europe experience in collecting regenerative practices;
  • access to (a very cool concept) for innovation demonstrator for sustainable building materials with Kamp C
  • connection between craftsmanship and latest technology (including AI) with MedaArch
  • connection with Australia through RMIT

This is all (I can recall), Thank you for following and helping, we talk soon!
